Paul Rubenstein-Paul’s been playing microtonal guitar since 1992, when he first made an electric guitar with movable frets. Since then, he’s made a number of guitars with different equal tempered scales: 10 tone equal temperament (tet), 13 tet, 14 tet and 15 tet.

John Schneider-John is another one of the early innovators of microtonal guitar. His recordings done on the “interchangeable” fingerboards, and his early 90’s article on Just Intonation and Guitar in Accoustic Guitar magazine were my introductions to this topic.
